Thanks for checking in. I'm Matty Jay, an established Sydney based guitarist & looper.
I specialise in providing 100% live acoustic driven rhythms, using all elements of the guitar to create beats, bass lines and percussion combined with loop pedals. Complementing the guitar are powerhouse vocalists who sprinkle their uniqueness across all genres, bringing the fun to every event!
The vibe
I work with a small boutique of highly talented singers, all intentionally selected for their unique qualities and diverse experience in live performance and gigging.
We are all dedicated music lovers, songwriters, collaborators, event and wedding specialists, collectively racking up years of experience in the music industry.
My live set list compromises of 300+ songs from RnB, soul, pop, ballads and classics from the 80's to the noughties, with an ever-growing and seemingly never-ending list to keep up with the latest one hit wonders!

Bookings & other bits
A few important (and slightly boring) tips for you!
Bookings are usually done 3-6 months in advance.
Live performance times are booked for either 3 or 4 hrs with live acoustic duo sets 45min each.
Weddings are magically unique and often involve many sets such as when guests arrive, progressing to the ceremony then naturally onto canapes and reception.
I own all my own sound gear & LED lights.
Bose S1 Wireless PA for outdoor ceremonies.
Mixed playlists for background music played between live acoustic duo sets.
$30million public liability cover through provider Duckforcover.
Travel? Yes indeed. Travel fees quoted upon enquiry.
